Search blog posts. This server exposes one tool: search_webz_blogs.
https://blogs-mcp.webz.io/mcp
You write in normal language. The assistant calls GET /api/blogs with a q string it builds from your request.
Excerpt in each result is a clipped part of the post body (up to about 600 characters), not the full post.
Replace YOUR_WEBZ_TOKEN with your token.
Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (%USERPROFILE%\.cursor\mcp.json on Windows) and restart Cursor:
{
"mcpServers": {
"webz-blogs": {
"url": "https://blogs-mcp.webz.io/mcp",
"headers": {
"Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_WEBZ_TOKEN"
}
}
}
}Token needs blogs (api_blogs) access. Setup: https://blogs-mcp.webz.io/.
Merge the same webz-blogs entry into your Claude Desktop config file - do not replace the whole file - then restart Claude Desktop:
| OS | Config file |
|---|---|
| macOS | ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json |
| Linux | ~/.config/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json |
| Windows | %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json |
Run in your project root:
claude mcp add --transport http webz-blogs https://blogs-mcp.webz.io/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_WEBZ_TOKEN"
Add an MCP Client Tool node and connect it to an AI Agent node's Tool input:
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Endpoint | https://blogs-mcp.webz.io/mcp |
| Server Transport | HTTP Streamable |
| Authentication | Bearer Auth |
| Tools to Include | All |
Create a Bearer Auth credential and paste your Webz.io API token as the bearer token. The agent receives a search_webz_blogs tool.
Add https://blogs-mcp.webz.io/mcp as a custom connector (Claude.ai: Settings > Connectors; ChatGPT: Settings > Apps & Connectors with Developer mode on). Both use OAuth: leave Client ID and Secret empty, then paste your Webz token on the authorize page. Setup instructions for every client are at blogs-mcp.webz.io.
Opening the /mcp endpoint in a browser returns 401 Unauthorized by design - browsers do not send your token. Use an MCP client.

No posts matched this search. The API call succeeded; there is simply no content for this query right now.
If this was the first try, call this tool once more with a broader q (drop site:, language:, country:, category, sentiment, or tight phrases; widen the topic or increase days).
I searched English Medium blogs from the last 7 days for supply chain delays. Webz found 14 posts; here are the main themes from the top results: port and container backlogs affecting retail inventory decisions, and longer component lead times beyond shipping alone. [Link to first post], [link to second post]. If you want non-Medium blogs too, I can rerun without
site:medium.com.
